Below you will find links to software we are currently using or have used in our district. Here are the links and a brief explanation to each software and how it can benefit you.
Free Office Software
Libre Office

Libre Office is a software suite that allows you to edit and create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations just like Microsoft office without the hefty price. The newest version now also works with Microsoft Office 2010 formats.

Apache Open Office

The Apache Open Office software suite has been around a long time and is still one of the best out there for the Home or Office without the hefty price tag.

Alternate Browsers
Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox has been around a very long time and has been a leading competitor of Internet Explorer. If you want to try a new browser that is more customizable than Internet Explorer, I would highly recommend giving this one a try.

Opera Browser

Opera is another great browser that can be customized and setup to help give you a better web browsing experience.

Maxthon Browser

Maxthon is a more basic browser, but has a ton of features. It is not for the timid, but configured right can be a great way to browse the web with little effort. Did I mention it was free?

Google Chrome

This is Google's part into the browser market. It is free and can tie you to all your Google accounts, however there are some limitations to the browser itself. It is a very fast browser no questions asked, but as for supporting certain plugins and browser add-ons, some sites will not play well with it.
