Zone 3 Board of Trustee Vacancy

The district currently has an opening for a Board of Trustee to represent Zone 3. Current board member Jamey Higham has announced he will be stepping down effective at the July Board meeting.

Anyone who currently resides in Zone 3 and is interested in serving as the Board of Trustee for the remainder of his term (which is two years) will need to bring in a letter of interest to the Shelley School District Office no later than July 13, 2017 by 4:30 p.m. A boundary description of zone 3 as well as a link to Google Earth can be found by clicking here. You may also call the district office to verify which zone you live in.

Our next school board meeting will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 with public session beginning at 6:00 p.m. The first item of business will be for the board to review, discuss and possibly interview all who have turned in a letter of interest. This will be in open session but no public input will be taken. Following this discussion the board may choose one of the applicants to represent Zone 3. That person would immediately be sworn in and participate in the remainder of the board meeting.

If anyone has any questions they may call the District Office at 357-3411.
