Our Mission

The mission of the Shelley School District is to provide an educational setting where students will learn to solve problems, make decisions, acquire skills, and prepare them to use their knowledge productively in an evolving society.

The District is committed to research-based practices, professional development for instructors, shared decision-making, and informed use of technology.

Attendance Is Important

Attendance District Goal -- 97%
Student achievement is directly tied to attendance, and so is district funding. This means that every absence is both a missed opportunity for learning, AND lost revenue for our school district. Lost revenue means fewer resources to educate our children. If we can hold student attendance at 97% rather than 94%, our state aid payments over the school year could increase by $170,000! Join us in promoting positive attitudes, high student achievement, and improved attendance!
