Posted Date: 03/31/26 (11:55 AM)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to begin planning for Summer 2026 course opportunities for students. Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA) has recently made some updates, so please read the following information carefully.

We have also updated our sign-up process this year to help make registration smoother and more efficient for families.

Please see the attached flyers for the Summer courses available. Registration opens April 1st.

Advanced Opportunities Eligibility

Students may qualify for Advanced Opportunities funding.

  1.  Must be in good standing with the funds. To be eligible:

  • Students must not have failed a previous course that was paid for by the funds.

  • A failed course typically includes either Earning an “F” grade, or Withdrawing from a course (earning a “W”)

       2. Retakes of courses are not eligible for Advanced Opportunities funding.

If a student does not qualify for Advanced Opportunities funding, they will be responsible for the course fees listed above.

Course Fees

IDLA course fees have changed for Summer 2026:

  • $40 for graduation-required courses
     (Cohort, Flex, or Credit Recovery)

  • $100 for courses not required for graduation
(based on the Idaho State Department of Education course list)

    • The list can be found in the registration system

Important Funding Policy

If a student does not successfully complete a course or earn credit for a course or exam that was paid for through Advanced Opportunities funding:

  • The student must pay for and successfully complete a new course before receiving any additional state funding.

How to Register

To register for summer courses, please follow the link below:

https://060sshs.idiglearning.net/

Our registration process is now open enrollment, which means:

  • Students and parents will select the course(s) they are interested in taking by clicking on the Course and Resource Catalog. They will then sign in as a new student or as a returning student.

  • School counselors will then review each request to determine if the student qualifies for Advanced Opportunities funding.

  • If the student qualifies, the course will be approved with funding. Both student and parents will receive an email confirming registration.

  • If the student does not qualify, a payment code will be sent to the parent/guardian’s email to complete course payment and finalize enrollment. Please check your email and complete the payment, your student will not be enrolled in the class until payment is received. If you have questions on why your student did not qualify please reach out to the counselors.

If your student is interested in taking summer classes, please be sure to complete the registration using the link above as soon as possible. IDLA is used state wide and their classes fill up quickly.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
