Shelley High School 2026–2027 Student Registration Information

Please review the following information carefully before attending in-person registration.

Important: Complete Online Registration First

Parents of all returning students must complete the Returning Student Online Registration before students can finish in-person registration or check out a Chromebook. Online registration is available now.
Parents should have received an email with instructions and a student Snapcode. If you did not receive the email, log in to your PowerSchool Parent account and select the registration link on the left side.

Registration Schedule

New Students: Thursday, August 6
8:00–11:00 a.m. or 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Seniors: Monday, August 10
8:00–11:00 a.m.
Juniors: Monday, August 10
1:00–4:00 p.m.
Sophomores: Tuesday, August 11
8:00–11:00 a.m.
Freshmen: Tuesday, August 11
1:00–4:00 p.m.

Optional Fees

Fees may be paid in person at the SHS office with cash, check, debit card, or credit card, or online through MySchoolBucks.
  • Activity Card: $40
  • Yearbook: $65
  • Pay to Play: $150
  • Parking Pass: $10
  • Chromebook Protection Plan: $20
  • Optional club fees may also apply, including Key Club, marching band, and others.
The Chromebook Protection Plan is optional and must be purchased by September 24, 2026.
Please note: Lunch payments cannot be accepted in the SHS office. Visit the Shelley School Nutrition website for meal prices, menus, free and reduced meal applications, and online payment information. Payments may also be made directly in the lunchroom.

New Students to Shelley School District

Thursday, August 6, 2026
8:00–11:00 a.m. or 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Please complete the New Student Registration through the Shelley School District website before coming to the office.
Please bring:
  1. Proof of residency, such as a utility bill, rental agreement, or home purchase agreement
  2. Birth certificate
  3. Proof of immunizations

What Returning Students Will Do at Registration

Seniors — Monday, August 10, 8:00–11:00 a.m.

Before coming to SHS, make sure your Returning Student Online Registration is complete.
Students will be able to:
  • Pay optional fees in the office or through MySchoolBucks.
  • Take a yearbook picture.
  • Receive a free Student ID card or an Activity Card.
  • Check out a school Chromebook in the library.
  • Complete class registration through the PowerSchool Class Choice program.
  • Pick up locker information and choose a locker, if needed.
  • Complete the parking pass process, if applicable.
Class Choice opens at 8:00 a.m. on August 10. Staff will be available in person to assist students who need help.
Students must have a Student ID card to check out books and purchase food in the cafeteria.
All students are required to use a school-issued Chromebook. The district no longer allows students to use personal devices in classes.

Senior Immunization Requirement

Idaho law requires all incoming 12th-grade students to either receive the MenACWY meningococcal vaccine or have a signed vaccination exemption waiver.

Juniors — Monday, August 10, 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Parking Passes

Students who would like a parking pass must:
  1. Complete the online parking form.
  2. Pay the $10 parking fee in the office or online.
  3. Pick up the parking pass in the SHS office.

Fall Sports Begin August 10, 2026

Students interested in participating in a fall sport should contact the appropriate coach for more information.
