Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the Sunrise Elementary website. We are so happy to have you and your students at our school. My name is Robyn Elswood and I am the principal here at Sunrise. The 2020-21 school year celebrates my 24th year in education. Most of that has been in the K-6 setting. I love working with and supporting elementary students. They truly are our foundation for a better and brighter future generation.
I believe that all students can learn at high levels. Everything we do at Sunrise Elementary supports that mission.

Information for Parents
The concept of MINDSET has proven to be indeed a valuable one to understand so that quite possibly we can work on changing some of those fixed mindsets within our children to GROWTH mindsets. There are a number of books available through bookstores and of course online. If interested in learning more about growth mindset check out Mindset by Carol Dweck.
